Eco-friendly ideas for your celebration
When I stubled across this great idea, I thought its a lovely DIY for our readers. I got it from www.tokketok.com, quite a stunning site for lovely ideas. This invitation is lined with an sheet of paper towel. And the message (menu or invite) written directly onto the envelope and taped the flatware to the inside of the envelope.
the handwriting and paper towel make it a little more casual.
if you want it fancier, you can print directly onto your envelope
and make a liner with a paper napkin or even a fabric one.
have a lovely week everyone!
The new trend in celebration planning is to factor in environment friendly ideas, items, and locations to achieve the ultimate green party! If you think about it, there is a lot of paper products used during the celebration process.
Here are some Earth friendly ideas for your celebration:
•Use local flowers that are readily available to save on fuel costs transporting flowers.
•Offer a menu that is totally organic and preferably locally grown. Give leftovers to local homeless shelters.
•Keep the amount of driving for your guests to a minimum. donate the calculated mileage costs your guests will be driving to a organizations that plant trees and care for the environment.
•Ask guests to bring a donation for programs that preserve the rainforests or actually helping the earth, in lieu of expensive gifts.
If you have any great ideas to share, please send them to me!
