Colonial Chic

We simply loved collaborating with Anne Mann from Wedding Concepts on the wedding of Tina and Christian! This was a luxurious affair, and Elsje Designs created order of service booklets, a table seating plan, and concertina-folded menus. We also commisioned a local artist to create a personalized map of the winelands for the couple. The map was printed on canvas, and Anne had gorgeous keepsake cushions made. We simply love this hottest new idea!

Gorgeous Greens

A luxurious way to invite honoured guests to a lavish affair - pocketfold invitations printed onto off-white shimmer paper, with the bridal couple's names hand-written in calligraphy and foiled in silver. This invitation is finished with a bright green petersham ribbon band, and includes printed cards for the invite details, RSVP, and map and accommodation details.

The (Elsje Designs) Dream Team

I started Elsje Designs about 6 years ago. From day one, I have set out to "be different". Being an entrepeneur at heart, I love the challenge that a small business brings. We got an executive coach on board and love to grow - into becoming more professional and streamlining our service and products to our celebrated clients.

The variety of my work day is addictive - with each season comes new fashion trends and with that new inspiration. Without such a talented and hard working team, Elsje Designs would not be the same. Thanks to Annemie, Linnett and Leanne, it's a joy to share my life with you!

Annemie Beukes, now de Jager, started her year off with a bang... she got married on the 17th of January and realised for the first time, how stressful it can be to plan the finer details of a trendsetting wedding. Annemie is kind, wise and energised to deal with any situation. She loves keeping an eye open for new trends. This talented mrs won the Foschini Annual Design Awards when she was a fashion design student in Cape Town. She is my right hand and without her Elsje Designs would not be the same. Reliable, loyal, energetic and always inspirational.

Before Linnett Viljoen was snapped up by ED, she used to work at Die Volksblad in Bloemfontein (ouch, all the afrikaans sounds really weird!). Linnett is meticulously organised and brilliant with planning, designing and executing her jobs. Over weekends you'll find this adverturous Free State babe on an off round bike or exploring Cape Town with her new friends.

Leanne van Zyl is vibrant, stylish and loves be social, meeting new people and going to exciting places. Leanne is also from the Free State. She's got a keen eye for design and is always fun to work with. The favourite part of her work day is to see a job completed and a client ecstatically happy.

Fashion Forward Foto-shoot with Elsje Designs creative team!

The creative team of Elsje Designs had the priviledge to work with the highly creative Cape Town photographer, Ian Mitchinson. Often our overseas and faraway clients would ask what we look like - well girls, here we are. Please visit Ian's blog http://www.ianmitchinsonphotoblog.com/ to drop him a note or a comment. Well done Ian, we would be referring a lot of brides to you. A huge thank you also to Danielle for doing our beautiful make-up (she's a full time make-up artist 082 619 8299) that spoilt us with princess treatment - we felt really glamorous and gorgeous.
